General FAQs

The following is a listing of some of the more commonly asked miscellaneous questions and
my attempt to answer them:
Q. Is the catalog complete yet?
A. Nope. We have been working on this catalog for a long time, and anticipate working
on it for a long time to come. Therefore, there should be constant changes, updates and
corrections for an indefinite time while we try to achieve perfection.
Q. How often is the catalog updated?
A. We anticipate frequent updates as we have time to make these changes.
Q. How does this catalog compare to the paper catalog?
A. The on-line catalog currently has most of the items available in the paper
catalog. Some of the items in the paper catalog but not in the on-line catalog are
no longer available. There are a few items listed in the on-line catalog which are
not yet in the paper catalog. New items are frequently being added to the on-line
catalog due to the relative ease of updating compared to updating the paper catalog!
Q. How accurate is the information in this catalog?
A. All information is accurate based on our best knowledge at the time it is input. But
we are human, and things sometimes change. If you are particularly concerned about any
information in particular, please ask!
Q. This is nifty stuff, but what are these types of things usually used for?
A. Many of our customers are involved in theatre or some sort of historical
reenactment. If you are interested in learning more about the largest medieval
reenactment group, please go to the SCA web site
to learn more!
Q. I have a business similar to yours. How can I also get these items?
A. We also have a wholesale department. It is not on-line yet, but a paper catalog
is available. Please place a note with your catalog request telling me the name and tax
ID number of your business to receive a wholesale catalog via snail mail.
Q. What is your return policy?
A. We accept returns of faulty merchandise on a case by case basis. If you receive
something which does not please you, please let us know, and we will try to work out a
mutually satisfying solution. We cannot accept any returns on earrings or shoes for
health reasons. Though shoes may be returned if they were only tried on, and of course if they were defective. Also, we do not (usually) accept returns on cut pieces of trims.
