These comfortable cloth shoes are sometimes known as Chinese flats or Mary Jane's. They feature soft cloth uppers and rubber soles. They are fully lined with a soft cotton fabric. The cloth strap goes across the top of your foot and is secured with a little buckle. This makes the shoe quite adjustable. They are adjustable to your foot, and will conform to the shape of your foot.

There are many of these shoes on the market, we prefer the higher quality brands which feature a fully lined and padded interior, reinforced stitching and a fully sewn construction (as opposed to being glued together).

This is a good, inexpensive medieval shoe which will go with any medieval outfit or medieval costume. For a more elegant medieval outfit, or for a Rennaisance shoe to go with a Renaissance outfit or Rennaisance costume, we recomend our brocade shoes or our velvet shoes. This listing is for the Blue cloth color. We also have these cloth shoes in Navy Blue, Red, Black, White, Pink and Dark Green. We have gotten several different shades of blue at different times. Currently we have three shades in stock - light blue, turquoise and a light royal blue. If you have a preference of color, please let us know, and we will let you know if we have that shade in stock in your size. Please be aware that we do not have all colors available in all sizes.

The blue cloth shoes with straps are available in metric sizes 35 through 41. As metric shoe sizes can be somewhat confusing the the typical American buyer, we offer the following guide to "translate" metric shoe sizes: Ladies add 30 to their regular shoe size and gentlemen add 32 to their regular shoe size. For example, a lady's American size 8 would be a metric size 38 and a Gentleman's size 10 would be a metric size 42. The table below will help you select your size.

When we researched shoes and shoe sizes, we found that there are no standards for shoe sizes. Different manufacturers may have sizes that vary between them. There is also no standard shoe size conversion chart. We have developed the following chart through long experience with selling these shoes. To be sure of one's shoe size, the shoe really should be tried on.

To be completely sure of one's shoe size, the shoe really should be tried on. While trying on shoes is encouraged, please do not wear them outdoors until you know that they fit. (We reserve the right to refuse shoe returns if they display visible signs of wear) If your shoes do not fit, just call is for a return authorization number, then ship them back to us. Let us know what shoe size you would like in return. You are responsible for shipping costs, but we will gladly exchange shoes until you are satisfied.
